Sneha Easwaran is a landscape designer & artist whose works are at the intersection of finding depth through layering narratives and understanding spaces through the transformation of landscapes (both conceptually and analytically). Sneha grew up in Singapore, a small and robust society that brought about her passion for dynamic environments through her training as a fine artist.

The project's concept and process really started out as a testing ground to move into a realm of the informality of sounds. This was all undertaken in a semester course called "The Spatial Politics and Practices of Sound in Modern Life". For Sneha, the past few years has been a journey of documentation and understanding the spaces & environments she's been lucky to have been immersed in. By using a standard throw-away toy camera, she relied on the natural elements of sunlight to visually capture the landscapes & urban fabric set out in front of her. The entire notion of spontaneity intrigued Sneha from the very first shot, and she continued to explore & experiment with this medium for a while. This brought about a fascinating amalgamation to introduce sound through motion & colour in film.

Sneha chose specific places that are extremely dynamic in character. They encapsulate a simple formula that have been pieced together in a format she has followed through combining elements of colour, sound, and motion: the Lights (medium of the film camera and colour palate) and then Sound (environment) = mapping Sound (The Outer Context).
